OASIS offers classes

ESCONDIDO —- OASIS is offering classes at the Joslyn SeniorCenter, 210 Park Ave. There is a $10 processing fee per trimester.The office is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.Register at 760-796-6020. The classes are:

Hike to explore Pamo Valley

RAMONA —- Join the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy for ahike exploring Pamo Valley from noon to 4:30 p.m. May 23 in Ramona.Hikers will view a rose quartz mine in Carney Canyon and learnabout San Diego’s gem mining history. The hike is 6.4 miles,moderately strenuous for intermediate hikers and strenuous forbeginners. Bring water, sun protection and be prepared for changingweather. Tony Hawk to ‘Get In The Game’

Bike safety fair slated for kids
