Celebrate Black Teachers and Students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We would love to have a more well-rounded and refreshed science area in our preschool classroom. Science should be more than just a sit-down lesson, but a part of everyday play! By giving us the geode kit, the kids can have a great time opening them up themselves and would get to take home their very own geode. This promotes conversations about school at home! The Hungry Caterpillar Garden and life cycle toy bring science to life in a way that little ones can understand.
Many of these toys, manipulatives, and science tools can be used across a wide age range!
The bubble science would be great for indoor or outdoor use. The STEAM Color Lab is a fun way to identify and create colors! By using the microscope kit, we can see rocks and minerals in their tiniest forms. The frog and butterfly sorting toys are not only great for the skill of sorting, but great for fine motor skills! The Tube Lock toys would also be an awesome tool for fine motor skills and also creativity. Last but certainly not least, is the disgusting science which will have our students cracking up!
