How do you get a Level 2 sprinkler? ›

Sprinkler II

To unlock this device, players must have a level six in their Farming skills. Here are the items necessary to craft Sprinkler II: Gold kelp ×7. Scrap ×10.

Sprinkler II can be crafted after the player reaches level 6 in their Farming mastery.

A common rule that is followed for obstructions within 18 inches of the sprinkler deflector is the “three times rule”. This requires sprinklers to be positioned away from obstructions a minimum or three times the maximum dimension of the obstruction.

Typically, a zone can accommodate between five to ten sprinkler heads, with the understanding that each sprinkler head has a watering radius of about 15 feet. However, keep in mind that this is a general guideline, and the specific requirements of your lawn may vary.

Running multiple zones at once is usually not possible due water-pressure and flow limitations at residential properties. As with any standard irrigation controller, you can wire multiple solenoids/valves to the same zone output if you want.

Sprinkler III can be crafted after the player reaches level 9 in their Farming mastery.

For a bronze-level watering can, players require the basic watering can, 1,500 gold coins, and 5 bronze bars. It takes one day to upgrade. On the other hand, for the silver-level watering can, players need the bronze watering can, 3,000 gold coins, and 5 silver bars. This upgrade takes 2 days to process.

How do you unlock sprinklers? ›

The Sprinkler is unlocked at Farming level 2. Sprinklers can water Slime Hutch troughs, but cannot be used to water Garden Pots or the pet's water bowl. Sprinklers cannot be placed on sand. A Torch can be placed on a Sprinkler to provide minimal lighting in the dark.

To run more than one sprinkler off the same faucet, attach a 'Y' to your faucet and run a hose to each sprinkler. To run 2 sprinklers off the same hose line, attach a quick-connect to one branch of the 'Y' and a hose to the other branch.

The 18-inch applies only to areas that have sprinklers installed. Picture a horizontal plane parallel to the ceiling that is 18 inches below the sprinkler heads. Nothing should be in that area between the bottom of the sprinkler heads and the imaginary horizontal plane parallel to the ceiling that is 18 inches below.

1-2-3-2-1 watering technique:

In April water 1 day/week. In May ramp up to 2 times/week. In the heat of the summer water 3 times/week. In September drop back to 2 times/week. In the fall drop back down to 1/week.

The purpose of the “18-inch rule” is to prevent storage or any other obstruction from interfering with the spray of water from a sprinkler head during a fire. It is intended to prevent a situation in which the obstruction is within 18-inches of the ceiling and might be between the sprinkler head and the fire.

Fortunately, adjusting a spray head is pretty simple, in most cases. At the top of most spray nozzles is a small screw that is used to adjust the head itself. Using a small screw driver, you'll need to either tighten or loosen this adjustment screw to achieve your desired results.

At the top of the nozzle, you will find a small screw. Use a flat-headed screwdriver to turn the screw to reduce or extend the radius of the nozzle opening. Set the arc position by adjusting the stem to cover the spray distance you need.
