DescriptionSalary Range: $41.15/hour - $53.25/hourJob SummarySupervises and directs designated professional and non-professional staff. Ensures laboratory services are scheduled according to established guidelines. Ensures that guidelines are updated and followed accordingly. Accountable for creating a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity.
Essential Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates daily workflow for professional and non-professional staff.
Assists in the development of the operating budget for area of responsibility.
Assists with the development and revisions of standard operating procedures.
Ensures departmental compliance with all applicable KP policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations, and accreditation standards.
Participates in human resource functions for departmental personnel including recruitment, performance management, and all aspects of payroll.
Orients and trains all departmental employees.
Serves as a liaison with external clients and internal departments to facilitate needs of the department/company.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ExperienceBasic Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a health care setting related to job duties, including one (1) year in a supervisory or lead role managing performance, administering personnel policies and procedures, and analyzing customer care delivery related to their department.
Education
Bachelors degree in business administration, health care administration or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements
Proven ability to build and motivate teams.
Proficient at an intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as superior customer service skills.

Direct experience with health care scheduling preferred.
